A Girl and Her Tools

I'm a huge collector of exotic paraphernalia... without a dungeon in which to store all of my evil items beautifully, they mostly sit in boxes these days, meticulously categorized (thanks to one of my ex-purrsonal slaves who had a knack for mind-numbing tedious work that I never could bring myself to do), awaiting their next victim.

I tried to do a little survey once to total up what all of my accoutrements were worth - and it startled me. I had to stop. Much of the collection were gifts from loyal slaves and admirers around the world, as well as many custom-made pieces concocted from various materials and based on a series of wicked dreams that I was having several years ago (I'm sure I'll expound on this topic again in the near future, knowing me...).

The whips in purrticular are the big-ticket items. All handmade, many ordered directly from their artisans, most tailored to my throwing style and specifics. Floggers, whips, cats, bullwhips, and other specialty pieces. They're also my purrsonal favorites, as I'm quite accurate with my whips. They excite me the most. They allow me to either vent my anger or slowly allow my wishes to be purrformed, depending on how and when I use them. They really do have their own purrsonalities - and good days and bad days.

One of my favorite whipmakers was Alan of Snake Pit Leather Works - I understand that he is no longer creating whips under that moniker (although the company still exists) - he was a very cool guy, really into the scene as well as being a first-rate whipmaker. I also really love the pieces that I have from DeTails Toys...

In looking through them I am struck that I never really invested in a longer bullwhip - most of my collection are 4-6 feet, much more practical for closeup, indoor "target" work (your ass being the target, naturally). The only one I had that was longer was a 10' cowhide whip -- more for the wicked crack it had and the commanding presence I made when I held it than for actual whipping. And I sold that awhile ago, as it was no longer giving me pleasure to have it.

It's always dangerous to get me talking about bullwhipping - it's one of my favorite things...
